Silenced Voices
Using the direction provided by the Chemeketa Press, create a compelling book cover that avoids typical censorship cliches.
Layout
I wanted a solution that was bold without seeming tacky. I used the powerful symbol of spilled ink to represent the voices and creative works that were once censored, but are now being shared through this anthology. The synopsis on the back cascades down in a shape similar to the cover to reference the unique formatting poetry can take.
